Ashgrove Skatepark

What a fantastic little park. Flows so well.

Fun features with enough room to move. A quarter pipe, two manual pads, one flat the other angled with a ramp up to the larger side. A rail, coaping and gutters for board slides.

A large park with seating for viewers, and a drinking water fountain. No lights for night skating.

It wasn't too crowded and the locals are very friendly. I was there from 4pm till 630pm, I saw only a few little kids stop with parents and a couple more serious skaters that were happy to make space for me as a beginner.

Woolloongabba Bowl

Great little skatepark for beginners. I came to learn nose stall grabs after practicing on flat gutters. Not confident enough to hit up a quarter pipe yet, this is a great middle-ground. Also good to practice dynamic ollie's.

I was the only one here all afternoon with the exception of 15min, when there were 2 little kids. I can see how it could easily get over crowded with just a few people.

There is a drinking water fountain around the other side of the basketball park.
